BWI invites you to the 5th edition of Apéro de l’Hydro!

BWI’s afterwork event “Apéro de l’Hydro” is all set to take place on the 3rd of April in Toulouse.

On the 3rd of April 2024, BWI’s afterwork event “Apéro de l’Hydro” is all set to take place at B612 – Centre d’innovation in Toulouse. The event features several distinguished speakers from Hydrology and Space domains. 

Don’t miss the chance to connect with professionals and academics who share your interests. Besides, it would be a great opportunity to acquire valuable insights into hydrology and the science of the water cycle from our esteemed lineup of speakers.

Here is the list of speakers for the flagship event: 

 

  • Sophie Champagne, DISTRICT manager, Aerospace Valley on the Aerospace Valley’s accelerator located at B612, Toulouse
  • Dr. Emna Ayari, postdoctoral researcher at CESBIO on SAR and Optical Remote sensing data for Surface Soil moisture retrieval over continental semi-arid areas
  • Dr. Jérôme Benveniste, formerly Senior Advisor at the European Space Agency – Directorate of Earth Observation Programmes on Terrestrial coastal areas observed from space: Freshwater flux to the oceanic coastal zone
  • Dr. Mohamad Hamze, product owner, BWI on Integration of remote sensing derived parameters in crop models for plot scale irrigation monitoring
