Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1965, elle intervient sur un potentiel de <strong>240 000 hectares de terres irrigables<\/strong> et mobilise aujourd&rsquo;hui <strong>plus de 400 agents<\/strong> r\u00e9partis sur l&rsquo;ensemble de la rive gauche du fleuve.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La vall\u00e9e du fleuve S\u00e9n\u00e9gal est la principale zone de production de riz du pays &#8211; elle assure environ <strong>50 % de la production nationale de riz local<\/strong>. G\u00e9rer l&rsquo;eau dans ce territoire, c&rsquo;est donc soutenir directement la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans ce contexte, la SAED s&rsquo;inscrit dans les ambitions port\u00e9es par l&rsquo;agenda <strong>S\u00e9n\u00e9gal 2050<\/strong>, avec un objectif clair : moderniser la gestion de l&rsquo;eau pour mieux Sans donn\u00e9es fiables sur l&rsquo;ensemble du r\u00e9seau, les \u00e9quipes de la SAED peinent \u00e0 optimiser les fen\u00eatres de pompage, \u00e0 anticiper les variations de d\u00e9bit susceptibles d&rsquo;affecter les cultures, et \u00e0 accompagner les producteurs dans leurs d\u00e9cisions d&rsquo;exploitation.\r\n\r\nLes cons\u00e9quences se r\u00e9percutent directement sur les rendements agricoles &#8211; notamment en riz &#8211; et sur la capacit\u00e9 de la SAED \u00e0 remplir sa mission de d\u00e9veloppement territorial.                                <\/div>\n initial qu\u2019en exploitation.\r\n\r\nCes contraintes freinent l\u2019extension du r\u00e9seau de mesure, alors m\u00eame que les besoins en donn\u00e9es augmentent pour accompagner le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019agriculture irrigu\u00e9e.\r\n\r\nDans ce contexte, \u00e9largir la couverture hydrologique devient un enjeu majeur, mais difficile \u00e0 atteindre avec des variabilit\u00e9 hydrologique accrue, les \u00e9quipes de la SAED doivent disposer d\u2019informations fiables et anticip\u00e9es pour g\u00e9rer les risques et optimiser leurs interventions.\r\n\r\nLa planification de l\u2019irrigation, la gestion des ouvrages et l\u2019accompagnement des producteurs n\u00e9cessitent une meilleure capacit\u00e9 de pr\u00e9vision, notamment en cas d\u2019inondations ou de variations importantes des d\u00e9bits.\r\n\r\nAu-del\u00e0 de la donn\u00e9e, l\u2019enjeu est donc de disposer d\u2019outils permettant un pilotage plus proactif et informations hydrologiques sur des zones non instrument\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Ces donn\u00e9es viennent compl\u00e9ter les dispositifs existants et permettent d\u2019eau. Cette am\u00e9lioration permet d\u2019anticiper plus efficacement les \u00e9pisodes de crue, d\u2019identifier les zones \u00e0 risque et d\u2019adapter les interventions en amont. Elle renforce \u00e9galement la capacit\u00e9 des \u00e9quipes \u00e0 accompagner les producteurs et \u00e0 limiter les impacts potentiels sur les populations.<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"row\">\n                                                    <h3 class=\"row-title\">Un outil au service des producteurs et des gestionnaires<\/h3>\n                        \n                                                    <p>Les informations g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par la solution BWI s&rsquo;int\u00e8grent dans les dispositifs existants de la SAED et alimentent directement les syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;aide \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision agricole. Elles permettent d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la planification des campagnes d&rsquo;irrigation, de mieux coordonner les interventions sur les ouvrages, et de fournir des recommandations plus pr\u00e9cises aux producteurs &#8211; notamment sur les fen\u00eatres de pompage et les risques de variation brutale des d\u00e9bits. Cette approche facilite l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des informations fiables sur des zones jusqu\u2019alors peu couvertes, tout en r\u00e9duisant les contraintes li\u00e9es aux co\u00fbts d\u2019installation et de maintenance. Cette mont\u00e9e en \u00e9chelle s\u2019accompagnera du d\u00e9ploiement de dispositifs compl\u00e9mentaires et d\u2019une am\u00e9lioration continue des mod\u00e8les, afin de renforcer la pr\u00e9cision et la robustesse des pr\u00e9visions sur l\u2019ensemble du territoire.<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"col\">\n                                                    <h3 class=\"col-title\">Une contribution \u00e0 la transformation num\u00e9rique de la SAED<\/h3>\n                        \n                                                    <p>Au-del\u00e0 des aspects op\u00e9rationnels, ce projet s&rsquo;inscrit dans la dynamique de transformation num\u00e9rique port\u00e9e par la SAED dans le cadre de l&rsquo;agenda S\u00e9n\u00e9gal 2050. Le d\u00e9ploiement de stations virtuelles et l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des donn\u00e9es hydrologiques structur\u00e9es contribuent \u00e0 renforcer les capacit\u00e9s analytiques de l&rsquo;institution et \u00e0 alimenter ses syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;information internes.
