Ces services, produits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019intelligence artificielle, exploiteront des mesures de hauteurs d\u2019eau, pr\u00e9cises et quotidiennes, sur l\u2019ensemble des bassins mondiaux, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des capteurs embarqu\u00e9s sur une constellation de satellites unique au monde. Ils permettront d\u2019am\u00e9liorer significativement la gestion de la ressource en eau et l\u2019anticipation des inondations et s\u00e9cheresses. La conclusion de ce contrat s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre du programme France 2030, pilot\u00e9 par la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Entreprises (DGE), la Direction de la Recherche et de l\u2019Innovation (DGRI) et la Direction G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l\u2019Armement (DGA), avec le Secr\u00e9tariat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour l\u2019investissement (SGPI). <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le 31 mai 2024, le CNES, op\u00e9rateur pour le compte de l\u2019\u00c9tat, a initi\u00e9 une consultation publique visant \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter de nouveaux services d\u2019observation spatiale \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence des niveaux d\u2019eau continentale avec le Minist\u00e8re de la Transition Ecologique (MTE). L\u2019objectif : r\u00e9pondre aux besoins croissants de la communaut\u00e9 scientifique, des organisations internationales, et des acteurs industriels (\u00e9nergie, assurance, traitement des eaux) en mati\u00e8re de gestion des ressources en eau douce.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Baptis\u00e9 H2R- Hydrologie Haute Revisite &#8211; ce projet s\u2019inscrit dans une grande ambition : d\u00e9ployer une constellation de satellites \u00e9quip\u00e9s d\u2019altim\u00e8tres miniaturis\u00e9s, capables de fournir des donn\u00e9es in\u00e9dites sur les d\u00e9bits des fleuves \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale. BWI assurera la fourniture de donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9monstration \u00e0 partir de deux premiers satellites. Cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape permettra d\u2019am\u00e9liorer significativement les mod\u00e8les hydrologiques et favorisera l\u2019\u00e9mergence d\u2019une fili\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise de classe mondiale dans le domaine de l\u2019hydrologie spatiale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Caroline LAURENT, Directrice des syst\u00e8mes orbitaux et des applications, CNES,<\/strong> commente : \u00ab H2R s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 d\u2019une expertise fran\u00e7aise, soutenue par le CNES, en mati\u00e8re d\u2019hydrologie spatiale. Il mat\u00e9rialise \u00e9galement la volont\u00e9 de la puissance publique de permettre \u00e0 des acteurs \u00e9mergents de d\u00e9velopper les technologies d\u2019avenir sur des sujets \u00e0 fort impact soci\u00e9tal tels que la ressource en eau. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Philippe GAUTIER, Pr\u00e9sident de BWI,<\/strong> compl\u00e8te : \u00ab Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s par le CNES sur le projet H2R. Nous animons un consortium d\u2019industriels fran\u00e7ais pour lesquels cette commande publique est une opportunit\u00e9 majeure pour d\u00e9velopper des technologies uniques et \u00e0 fort impact \u00e9conomique et politique.
