We’re pleased to welcome Mohamed Fadel Thiam, Finance & Accounting Intern at BWI. Currently pursuing his studies in accounting, control and audit, Fadel supports BWI’s day-to-day financial and accounting activities — an essential contribution to the company’s operational management.
Based in Paris, Fadel, 21, is a third-year undergraduate student in accounting, control and audit (CCA) at IAE Paris-Est, Gustave Eiffel University. His academic path began with preparatory classes in economics for business schools at Lycée Gustave Courbet, before specialising in accounting and finance.
At BWI, Fadel works as a Finance & Accounting Intern, supporting both finance and accounting activities alongside our Chief Operating Officer. His role covers financial reporting, bank reconciliation and treasury operations, as well as support to accounting processes — including participation in the monthly closing, reviewing and adjusting accounting entries, and account analyses to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data. He also contributes to the production of financial reports supporting performance monitoring and decision-making across the company.
Fadel chose to join BWI to gain practical experience in finance within an innovative startup environment, and for the opportunity to work in an international setting.
What he enjoys most at BWI? Being involved in many aspects of finance while working alongside experienced colleagues — an environment where he learns quickly and is given real responsibilities.
We’re delighted to have Fadel on board — 🎥 discover his story in the full interview!
