We’re pleased to welcome Roxane Blattes, Project Management Officer at BWI. With a PhD in Biology, an MBA, and extensive experiences in program governance, Roxane supports the REVALTO satellite mission by overseeing planning, risks and cost management – contributing to the delivery of high-revisit hydrological data for improved water monitoring.
We’re delighted to welcome Roxane Blattes to BWI as a Project Management Officer for upstream activities. Originally from Toulouse, Roxane joined the team in October 2025 and brings with her a strong background in project governance, performance management and complex programs coordination. She holds a PhD in Biology as well as an MBA from Toulouse University.
Roxane shares her journey, motivations and insights into her role at BWI.
Before joining BWI, Roxane built extensive experiences in project and portfolio management across aerospace, industrial and research environments. Certified PMP, she has held senior PMO and governance roles within major programs, notably for Airbus and in international business environments. These experiences shaped her structured approach to performance monitoring, risks management and stakeholders coordination.
At BWI, Roxane serves as PMO for the upstream team on the REVALTO project, a radar altimetry satellite mission designed to demonstrate the capability of providing high-revisit hydrology data. She is responsible for the programmatic aspects of the project, including planning management, costs control, risks management, KPI follow-up and suppliers coordination. Acting as governance lead, she ensures that the project progresses in alignment with its objectives, timeline and performance targets.
Roxane shares that what she enjoys most at BWI is working in an international environment alongside passionate colleagues committed to advancing water intelligence through space and data.
