BWI at CGLE 2026: Two Days of Exchanges on Water Management Challenges

BWI took part in the Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l’Eau (CGLE) 2026 in Rennes, engaging with public and private stakeholders on hydrological forecasting, flood and drought anticipation, and territorial resilience.
A recap of two days of exchanges at the heart of water management challenges.

Two days of discussions at the heart of water management challenges

On 21 and 22 January 2026, BWI took part in the Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l’Eau (CGLE) in Rennes, the key meeting point for public and private stakeholders across the water sector.

Present at the Innovation Village, the BWI team had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of professionals to discuss today’s major water management challenges: hydrological forecasting, flood and drought anticipation, and strengthening territorial resilience in the context of accelerating climate change.

Throughout the event, these exchanges provided an opportunity to share field feedback, operational needs and perspectives on the use of hydrological forecasting services, at a time when reliable anticipation is becoming a critical lever for public action and day-to-day water management.

Hydrological Forecasting for More Robust Territories

On the second day of the event, Jeremy Fain, CEO of BWI, took part in the conference “Innovative solutions serving territorial robustness.”

During his intervention, he presented BWI’s hydrological forecasting services and their contribution to anticipating water-related risks, supporting more robust and better-prepared territorial management.

We would like to warmly thank the CGLE organisers, water clusters Aqua-Valley and AquaNova, as well as all participants who came to meet us at the Innovation Village. These exchanges over the two days highlighted the importance of continued dialogue between innovation, field actors and decision-makers to collectively address the growing challenges linked to water resources.
