We’re proud to share that BWI was selected as one of the three winners of the Innovation Award as well as the People’s Choice Award, voted live by the audience during the InnoDay by Aerospace Valley 2025.
Held on 8 October in Toulouse, InnoDay by Aerospace Valley 2025 brought together major industry players to celebrate innovation across the aerospace sector.
This annual event has become a key meeting point for the aerospace community – a place where corporations, SMEs, start-ups and researchers exchange ideas, explore partnerships, and highlight technologies shaping the future of the industry.
The Innovation Award (Prix de l’Innovation) highlights startups contributing to the growth and transformation of the aerospace ecosystem, spotlighting solutions that address both environmental and digital challenges facing the industry.
Out of eight pre-selected startups, three laureates were chosen by a jury representing the event’s partners: BWI, Wheere, and Univity. Each was recognized for its innovative contribution to the aerospace sector.
BWI’s award was presented by Airbus Développement, acknowledging our work in applying space data and artificial intelligence to improve hydrological forecasting and climate resilience – a bridge between aerospace technology and environmental impact.
During InnoDay 2025, the three laureates took the stage to pitch their solutions to the audience. BWI was presented by our CEO, Jérémy Fain, who shared how space data and AI can help anticipate hydrological risks and strengthen climate resilience. Following these presentations, BWI was honored with the People’s Choice Award, a recognition that reflects the public’s enthusiasm for our mission and the collective effort of our entire team.
We’re proud to share this recognition with our fellow laureates, Wheere and Univity, whose inspiring projects also embody the excellence and collaboration driving Toulouse’s innovation ecosystem.
As part of this recognition, BWI will take part in the upcoming Forum by Aerospace Valley, held in June 2026 in Biarritz – another opportunity to engage with the aerospace community and continue sharing innovations that connect space technology and sustainability.
Stay tuned for more updates from the BWI team!
