Since its inception in 2016, the event has grown exponentially, with hundreds of exhibitors and visitors each year. With a keen focus on hydroelectricity and other forms of renewable energy, Rencontres Business Hydro is a cornerstone event in driving the shift towards sustainable energy solutions. Hydro21, a non-profit organization that brings together hydropower operators located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in France, organizes this prestigious event. This specific region also called ‘AURA’, is a major hydroelectricity center as AURA represents roughly half of the country’s total hydropower production.
