We are excited to announce that BWI will be one of seventy exhibitors at the inaugural CYCL’EAU trade show in Orléans. This event focused on water management, offers a unique opportunity for BWI to connect with key players who are pioneering innovative strategies for water-related data production and technology in the Loire-Brittany basin.
More about CYCL’EAU
CYCL’EAU, often dubbed the premier regional tradeshow for water management at the heart of French river basins, was first launched in Bordeaux in 2017. Since then, it has expanded to several regions, including Centre, Grand-Est, Occitanie, Hauts-de-France, and Sud, with a unified objective: to gather the main stakeholders from each basin. Its human scale is a strength rather than a weakness, facilitating quality meetings and making exchanges between local authorities, elected representatives, and institutional partners or delegates easily accessible. The connections formed during these exchanges create a robust network capable of collaboratively developing solutions to water-related challenges.
The Loire-Britanny Basin
The Loire-Brittany Basin covers 28% of metropolitan France, making it a significant area of focus for environmental management. Since 2000, local authorities have prioritized improving the conditions of continental water bodies, groundwater, and coastlines to ensure adequate water quality and quantity essential for all human activities. To support these efforts, Cycl’eau was launched in Orléans, fostering cooperation among local authorities.

Furthermore, Jeremy Fain, BWI’s CEO, is excited to take part in a panel discussion following two short talks on the regional digital strategy and the presentation of a flagship digital twins project. The dynamic panel discussion “From data to decision support: the challenges of digital technology” will be moderated by Pauline Boyer and include 4 other speakers: Dametis, Nogema, Satis Ingénierie, Yaakadev.
Date: 10 October
Time: 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm
The main goal of the panel discussion is to present the solutions proposed by BWI, to emphasize the importance of data, and to highlight the benefits of data for the environment and water resources.
