Read more about BWI’s insights from Salon des Maires du Tarn 2024 in Albi, France.
BWI recently participated in the second edition of “Le Salon des Maires du Tarn 2024” (The Mayors’ Exhibition 2024) held in Albi, France. This year’s theme, “Mayors of Tarn Defend Their Communes’ Projects,” focused on addressing the needs, challenges, and actions required by Tarn’s public entities. The event, which ran from September 17th to 18th, 2024, successfully brought together over 100 local and national stakeholders.
Representing BWI at the Salon des Maires du Tarn were Clément Xanxo, Business Development Representative, and Bianka Felnerová, Junior Communications Manager. They introduced BWI’s hydrological services and engaged with local decision-makers and business leaders in the Aqua-Valley collective booth, alongside six other Aqua-Valley exhibitors.
The two-day event in Albi was a valuable opportunity for BWI to gain insights into the diverse needs of local communities. Our hydrological solutions are already well-suited to tackle many of the challenges identified, and the feedback we received at the Salon des Maires du Tarn 2024 will help us further tailor our services to address diverse hydrological issues exacerbated by climate change.
Additionally, for attendees with limited time, BWI joined a conference on effective water management. During the session, Clément delivered a concise five-minute pitch, showcasing our innovative solutions and explaining how BWI can support communities in managing their water resources more efficiently and protecting stakeholders and mitigating the impacts of extreme weather events.
We extend our gratitude to the Aqua-Valley team for including us alongside other solution providers, and to the Association of Mayors and Local Elected Officials of Tarn for organizing such a productive and well-run event.
